Josephina Otabor, better known by her stage name Phyna, was the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show and has stated that, although she is a woman, she would love to identify as a man.

She claimed that despite the stereotypes against women in society, even though she identifies as a man mentally, even though she is a woman physically.

In an interview on the most recent Big Friday Show with Tacha on Cool FM Nigeria, Phyna talked about her recent conflict on social media with Davido.

“I am a woman, but I want to identify as a man most of the time,” she stated. I want to be a man in my next life.

Although I identify as a man, even though I am physically a woman, most of the time they just try to talk down to you because you are a woman.

Furthermore, I will personally call you out if you do something to me that I find offensive, regardless of who you are. Take our conversation, for instance, when David [Davido] claimed he didn’t know me. “Phyna, you should have taken the opportunity to introduce yourself,” everyone exclaimed. Not at all! The fact that he is David (Davido) does not require me to give him a kiss.

According to the reality star, women need to be treated more fairly in society.
