Tiwa Savage Reveals Premiere Date for Debut Film ‘Water And Garri’

Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has officially announced the release date for her highly anticipated debut movie, ‘Water And Garri.’

After teasing fans with hints about her venture into the film industry, Savage took to social media on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to unveil the long-awaited premiere date.

She revealed that the movie is set to hit screens on May 10, 2024, exclusively on the global streaming platform Prime Video.

Accompanied by a promotional poster featuring herself alongside Nollywood stars Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan, Savage shared the news with her followers, stating: “My dear fans, mark your calendars! Our movie @waterandgarrifilm is arriving on May 10th @primevideo.”

The film, which bears the same title as Savage’s recent EP ‘Water And Garri,’ is executive produced by the talented singer herself.
