Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, is a Nigerian singer who has vowed to win this year’s Grammys.

Rema stated that he would win the Grammys this year while visiting billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu at his mansion in Lagos, even though he was not nominated for any awards in 2024.

The “Calm Down” singer thanked Elumelu for consistently promoting the Nigerian music industry during his interaction with the billionaire’s family. He also gave them an exclusive album copy and some of his merchandise, Air Rema.

Rema expressed her gratitude for the billionaire’s support of the music industry in a video clip that was posted on the billionaire’s Instagram story. It means a lot to me, so I’m grateful. I’m bringing the Grammy this year.

According to the news, Rema was passed over for a 2024 Grammy nomination by the Recording Academy.

The following Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for 2025.
