Moses Kayode Phillips, popularly known as Pheelz, Nigerian record producer and singer, shared that he has always been involved in singing, even during his tenure as YBNL’s in-house producer, before transitioning into a full-time artist.

He revealed that some of the artists he was producing for back then released songs he had written for himself.

The “Finesse” singer disclosed that his decision to pursue a career as a full-time singer was influenced by his battle with COVID-19, which led him to reevaluate his life and prioritize living with purpose.

In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Pheelz emphasized the importance of seizing the moment and expressing oneself fully, citing his own experience with the virus as a catalyst for his decision to “die empty” by fully utilizing his talents and abilities.
