Following his denial, the individual behind the fabricated screenshot, @belikebaddy, apologized to Peruzzi and Davido on Thursday, vowing not to repeat such actions.

“I apologize for sharing an edited tweet involving @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for my actions and promise it won’t happen again.

My apologies to DMW Management,” they wrote. Despite the apology, Peruzzi announced his intention to pursue legal action, urging followers to retweet the apology for potential court expenses.

Additionally, Peruzzi expressed forgiveness in general but indicated that this incident warranted different treatment, stating, “God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that.”
