Nollywood actor Azeez Ijaduade was hit by an ammunition shell rather than a bullet in Ogun – Police

According to the Ogun State Police Command, Azeez Ololade Ijaduade, a well-known Nigerian actor and film director, was struck in the neck by an ammunition shell rather than a bullet.

When victim Abiodun Adebanjo’s colleague posted the incident on Instagram under the handle @iamabiodunadebanjo, word of the alleged shooting spread throughout the night on social media.

“Please, we need help in Iperu,” the post said. Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, my director, was shot by a Nigeria Police officer.

Right now, Babcock University Teaching Hospital is where he is. Anyone who knows the Commissioner or Police IG’s contacts should get in touch.

Since then, the state’s police force has come under heavy fire for allegedly lacking professionalism.

Omolola Odutola, the state command spokesperson, acknowledged the event in a statement and clarified that the actor was struck in the neck by a bullet shell.

During the Bramaj Company end-of-year party in a hotel, a mobile policeman attached to the Chinese expatriate expended a shot into the air, and unfortunately, the ammunition shell hit one Azeez Ijaduade “m “ an actor, on the neck,” Odutola said.

Although the actor’s current condition could not be verified by the media, the police reported that he is in a stable condition.

She said, “He is in a very stable condition after being rushed to the hospital in Ilishan.”

Odutola did, however, add that the incident was being investigated and that the officer had been placed under arrest.
