Nine people have been taken into custody by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for creating and reselling pillows in Sokoto State that were filled with sanitary pads and old diapers.

Bello Alkali Argungun, the state’s commandant, made this announcement on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, stating that the arrest was a result of an intelligence report.
