Ireti Doyle, a seasoned Nollywood actress, has shared her story of surviving carbon monoxide poisoning.

The actress revealed that she was bleeding from her nose and foaming at the mouth after the November 19, 2023, incident.

In a Sunday Instagram post, she recounted her experience and called it a testimony.

I was discovered unconscious in the vehicle that was assigned to transport us. The case of carbon monoxide poisoning was peculiar. I was bleeding profusely and foaming at the mouth.

“Somehow, the gas got into the AC vents, and while the driver and I were sitting in the car, we were breathing that crap in.” Poisoning by carbon monoxide is not limited to generators. It moves quickly and silently.

“Only because God, in His boundless mercy, said NO, am I here to tell this story. God exists and is dependable. I stand as evidence of His fidelity.

Jehovah Jireh brought all of Nigeria’s resources—people, doctors, nurses, and all other necessary personnel and logistics—to bear on this day in my favor.

If even ONE thing had been off, I wouldn’t be here. This is a teachable moment and a testimonies, she declared.
