Nollywood actress Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin, also known as Simi Gold, previously convicted of naira mutilation last year, has expressed solidarity with her friend, Bobrisky, who is currently facing similar charges.

Recalling her own arrest in February 2023 after a video surfaced online showing her spraying and stepping on naira notes, Simi Gold empathized with Bobrisky following the recent verdict of the Federal High Court in Lagos finding Bobrisky guilty of naira abuse.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared words of comfort, reassuring Bobrisky that she would emerge from the situation stronger.

In her post, she wrote, “Bobrisky, nothing can break you, my friend. You will emerge from this ordeal even stronger.”

Accompanied by a picture of herself and Bobrisky, she added, “Sending you heaps of love, my dear Bobrisky.”
