Former Super Eagles midfielder Seyi Olofinjana has expressed his admiration for the NNL matchday one clash between Smart City and Edel at the Onikan Stadium on Monday.After witnessing the teams play to a 1-1 draw, Olofinjana praised the NNL board, led by George Aluo, for their efforts in enhancing the league’s appeal.I am impressed with what I saw today—good officiating, fine football artistry by very young players paraded by the two teams. The organisers of the league are doing a good job,” Olofinjana stated.The Smart City vs. Edel match showcased thrilling moments, with Smart City dominating the first half and drawing first blood in the 20th minute through Chinonso Uzoma’s strike.

Edel, determined in the second half, secured an equalizer in the 55th minute when Arinze Anya found the net.
