Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, have announced their decision to divorce.

The couple shared a joint statement on Chance The Rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday, revealing that they have chosen to separate after a period of living apart.

In the statement, they expressed mutual respect for each other and gratitude for the time they spent together. They also stated their intention to co-parent their daughters and maintain joint legal custody.

“We have come to the difficult decision to end our marriage after a period of separation. This decision was made amicably, and we are thankful for the time we shared together.

God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters, and we are committed to raising them together,” the statement read.

The couple welcomed their first child, Kensil, in 2015 while still dating.

Although they briefly broke up in 2016, they reconciled in 2018 and tied the knot in March 2019.

In September 2019, they celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Marli.
