Bobrisky Unable to Fulfill Bail Requirements Set by EFCC

The renowned and controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has fallen short of meeting the bail requirements set forth by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky was apprehended by the Lagos State Command of EFCC on Wednesday due to accusations of naira mutilation, abuse, and spraying of naira notes.

Dele Oyewale, spokesperson for the EFCC, revealed this development on Thursday, stating, “he has been offered administrative bail; however, he has yet to fulfill the conditions for bail.”

In a statement posted on its X page on Thursday, EFCC stated that it summoned the 31-year-old following a video report depicting him flaunting and spraying bundles of new naira notes at the premiere of “Ajakaju,” a movie produced by Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, on March 24, 2024.

EFCC further elaborated that their investigation disclosed additional instances where Bobrisky allegedly engaged in similar offenses at various event venues and gatherings on separate occasions.
