Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Delta State on Saturday. The reality star shared her harrowing experience on her official X account, revealing that kidnappers hijacked four cars ahead of the vehicle she was traveling in and abducted the occupants.

Detailing the incident, she recounted, “So I arrived in Delta State today (GIG) and we were traveling in a convoy. Suddenly, one of the cars veered off the road, resulting in a minor accident. As it was getting late, my car and one other decided to continue the journey.”

“However, to our shock, the occupants of the four cars ahead of us were kidnapped. The kidnappers forced them out of their vehicles and left the cars abandoned in the middle of the road. It was chaos as cars swerved and reversed in panic,” she added, expressing her relief at the fortunate escape.
