Nollywood actor Seun Jimoh has called on the Nigerian government to declare a state of emergency on food production.

Expressing his concern over the prevailing hardship in the country, Jimoh made this plea on his official Instagram page.

Highlighting the severe repercussions of food scarcity for Nigerians, he stressed that famine should only occur during wartime or in the absence of fertile lands.

Urging the administration of President Bola Tinubu to address hunger and food insecurity as a matter of urgency, Jimoh emphasized that there should be no reason for food scarcity in Nigeria.
