Nollywood star Deyemi Okanlawon commends his wife’s patience, noting her indifference to female fans who flirt with him, even revealing she doesn’t follow him on social media.

During a recent episode of the Deep Dive podcast hosted by comedian Teju Babyface, Okanlawon shared, “If ‘look away’ was a person, that’s my wife. I recall an incident where a lady attempted to kiss me in the presence of friends. However, my wife has never questioned me about female admirers.”

He emphasized that his wife has refrained from following him on social media for years.

Furthermore, Okanlawon confessed his initial reluctance towards pursuing an acting career, admitting his struggle to cope with fame.

“Fame is a concept I struggle to grasp. Acting was never my dream. If circumstances had unfolded differently, I would have remained in the corporate world,” he explained.

“In 2019, I contemplated leaving acting altogether. For me, impact holds more significance than fame,” he concluded.
