Actor Zack Orji is ill, and the minister of art, culture, and creative economy, Hannatu Musawa, has asked for help.

Following her visit with the actor at a private hospital in Abuja, the minister issued the call for solidarity.

Orji reportedly slumped in his toilet over the weekend, leading to reports that he was rushed to the hospital.

However, the minister disclosed that the actor had brain surgery in a statement released on Wednesday by Nneka Anibeze, her spokesperson, providing an update on the actor’s health.

As he urged well-meaning Nigerians to support Orji, Musawa prayed for his healing.

He has entertained us, and we consider him to be a treasure of the country. Therefore, the best we can do is make sure we help him receive the best care possible.

“In order to make sure he survives this illness, we will also reach out to other well-meaning Nigerians for support through prayers and other means.

“He will be healed by God. We’ll exert every effort to help him. We ask Nigerians to offer up their collective prayers.
