Chinonso Ibinabo, better known as Kim Oprah, the star of the reality show Big Brother Naija, has disclosed that she used to sell sachet water and recharge cards to help pay her bills.

This was said by Oprah in a Tea With Tay podcast interview with Taymesan.

She related how, following her father’s death, she was forced to live in the barracks in Abuja.

My mother was in the military following the death of my dad. In order to help with housing, we were forced to relocate into the Abuja barracks.

“My sister and I used to sell recharge cards, pure water, and eggs around our side when I was a student at the University of Port Harcourt. Since there wasn’t a nearby kiosk where you could buy those things, we turned into the kiosk.

To be honest, I’m glad I went through it because it truly strengthened and shaped who I am.

I’ve witnessed suffering, so I know what the hustle is like. I understand both worlds, so coming out on the other side and being this person,” she remarked.
