The 34-year-old actor Jonathan Majors has left Marvel.

This comes after a two-week trial that was prompted by an incident that occurred in March between the actor and his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari, concluded with the actor being found guilty on Monday, Dec. 18, of assault and harassment.

The studio withheld further information.

On March 25, Majors was taken into custody after he reported to 911 that he had discovered his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari, unconscious in their New York apartment. Jabbari was found with cuts behind his ears, a fractured finger, and other injuries, according to the police. Her minor injuries landed her in the hospital.

Jabbari was arrested in October after turning herself in, but the Manhattan district attorney’s office declined to pursue charges.

Majors has maintained his innocence throughout, with attorney Priya Chaudhry arguing that the accuser, Majors’ former girlfriend Grace Jabbari, had fabricated the whole ordeal.

Majors was positioned as the pivotal character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe prior to his arrest in March. In the Season 1 finale of “Loki,” he debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021 as the enigmatic He Who Remains.

In “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” he was given his due as the antagonist Kang the Conqueror. This film also revealed some of the studio’s larger plans for the character, which are anticipated to come to fruition in the 2026 film “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.”

Majors most recently made an appearance as Victor Timely in the second season of “Loki.”

After Majors was arrested, the studio had not commented on his status with the team. However, upon the release of the new season, Kevin Wright, the executive producer of “Loki,” informed media outlets of the actor’s legal issues.
