Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has voiced her perspective on marriage, highlighting the concept of sharing within the marital bond.

Drawing from personal experience, the actress recounted instances where she contracted infections from her ex-husband during their marriage, emphasizing that in marriage, sharing encompasses even sexually transmitted diseases.

Taking to her social media platform, she reflected on her past, stating, “When I was married, of course, I received infections from time to time. But that’s marriage for you. Marriage is about sharing. You share everything… including infection.”

In a candid interview with Chude Jideonwo in 2023, Etinosa disclosed the challenges she faced in her marriage, including enduring severe domestic violence that nearly cost her life. She admitted to seeking solace in substance abuse as a coping mechanism for her husband’s infidelity and abuse.

Ultimately, after relentless prayers and fasting failed to evoke change in her husband, the actress made the difficult decision to leave the marriage behind.
