Gabriel Oche Amanyi, widely known as Terry G, asserts that marriage isn’t suitable for musicians.

He argues that being married would make opposite-sex fans less comfortable with a musician.

Appearing as a guest on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Terry G emphasized the significance of opposite-sex fans, referring to them as the lifeblood of the music industry.

He expressed, “I believe marriage isn’t compatible with individuals like us [musicians]. If I were to marry, it would limit my interactions with female fans.

“Females are pivotal to the music scene, they bring vibrancy to the industry. Without them, it would be dull.

“Once a music artist publicly announces their marriage, it could diminish their female fanbase. Marriage puts you in a different category. In Nigeria, there’s a saying that once you’re married, you’re off the market. Consequently, you lose your appeal.”
