Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has expressed his delight at the declaration of March 2nd as his day in the city of Boston,

Massachusetts, United States. The Boston City Council recently honored Burna Boy for his performances and advocacy efforts by officially proclaiming March 2nd as “Burna Boy’s Day.”

During his ‘I Told Them’ tour in Boston, Burna Boy was presented with a plaque by the Boston City Council.

In response, Burna Boy shared a photo of himself holding the plaque on stage, expressing his gratitude and stating that he feels incredibly honored and privileged. He emphasized his ongoing goal of uniting people from diverse backgrounds, referring to March 2nd as “Burna Boy Day.”
