Controversial Nigerian singer Eedris Abdulkareem claims that his colleague, 2Face, also known as 2Baba, owes much of his career success to their former bandmate, Blackface.

Abdulkareem asserts that Blackface, as the leader of the disbanded group Plantashun Boiz, played a pivotal role in propelling 2Baba into the spotlight.

Abdulkareem made these remarks as a guest on The Honest Bunch Podcast, hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Deity Cole, and Husband Material.

Speaking in Pidgin, Abdulkareem stated, “Most of the things wey 2face be today, na Blackface make am happen.” This statement comes amidst ongoing controversy surrounding Blackface’s allegations against 2Face, including claims of song theft and responsibility for the group’s breakup.
