Nigerian singer Michael Aniekeme Meshach, widely known as Mish, has reportedly passed away.

A family member confirmed his demise to the press on Thursday, revealing that Mish died in Abuja.

The singer rose to fame in 2011 with his viral hit song, ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya.’ However, Mish’s presence in the music scene waned after the success of this track. He hailed from Obot Okoh Mbiaobong in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
