Ritualists Kill Woman in Bid to Obtain N200m within 7 Days

The Ogun State Police Command has dismantled a seven-member gang specializing in the sale of human body parts for ritual purposes. State Police Commissioner Abiodun Olamutu made this revelation on Thursday, disclosing that among the exhibits recovered from the suspects were a human heart and two kegs filled with human remains.

The apprehended individuals include Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Monday, Prophet Peter Akiwunmi Ifatosin, Jamiu Yusuf, Sheriff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitoura.

Olamutu explained that the investigation began after the Divisional Police Office in Onipanu received a report on January 9 regarding the disappearance of Ms. Sulaiimon Adijat, who had gone on a date with Adebayo Azeez. Despite efforts to locate her, her phone remained switched off since her disappearance.

Subsequently, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit launched a technical-based investigation to uncover the truth. It was discovered that the suspects were engaged in a money ritual referred to as ‘Oshole’ to generate N200 million within seven days.

Oluwo Monday charged Agbai and Alioneitouria N800,000 to procure the ritual materials. Additionally, Oluwo Monday contacted Peter, an experienced individual in the trade of human parts, to obtain a young lady’s body parts for the ritual.

However, trouble arose when the ritual elements failed to produce the expected amount. During a search of Moses’s shrine, female handbags and sacks containing human bones were recovered on February 3 and 10.
