Residents of Iseyin in Oyo State are currently gripped by palpable fear due to a fire outbreak at one of the stations of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

News accumulated that the oil station, situated at Agip area of Iseyin, burst into flames around 2 p.m., causing alarm among the occupants.

Endeavors to extinguish the fire are at present continuous, with neighborhood young people in the town helping firemen to stifle the furious fiery blaze.

News gathered that some houses close to the station have already been affected, intensifying the anxiety among the residents.
